National Bread Day!

Need excuses to celebrate? I love to take a peek at the week ahead to see what National Celebration days are coming my way. It gives me a way to celebrate with my kids and spice up the quality time we spend together.

Today is National Bread Day! I woke up before the kids and dusted off the ole breadmaker. I tossed the ingredients in, then let the mixer do it’s thing! I knew the kids were awake when I heard “Yum, what is mom making?!” I knew that the bread wouldn’t last the day, so I snapped a few pictures (and snuck a slice) before they realized it was ready.

Want the recipe? This is the tried and true recipe passed to me by my sister-in-law!
